Sheetco showcased its sublimation printer as well as direct to film solution with a shaker and heating system at the recently held Sign Africa Gauteng expo, from 21-23 April.
The Avanti A180i sublimation printer features a production speed of 60sqm/hour, a bulk ink system (1.5 litre ink tanks with slow level alarm and syphon system subtanks), printing power (latest technology Precision Core TFP printhead with 6400 active nozzles – nozzle size suited for sublimation print output demands) and four colours. The Avanti series CMYK inks ensure printability and the best colour gamut.
The Avanti DTF A3 roll printer was also on display, together with a shaker and heating system, which adds glue powder to the print and then gets heated to melt the powder. The prints are then ready for transfer. A heat press is available with pieces of fabric for transfer demonstrations.
