Union ink (manufactured in South Africa)

NSDS manufacture a full range of plastisols under license from Union Ink in its factory in Durban. Union Ink is subsidiary of NSDS’s alternative brand Rutland, and the combination of expertise and experience is competitive. Since 1962, Rutland Plastic Technologies has developed products that make the screen printing process easier.

ClearShield liquid laminates

The products are waterproof and offer state-of-the-art UV protection, chemical and abrasion resistance whilst remaining highly flexible. The StarLam 1600R applies a smooth and consistent coating of ClearShield water-based liquid laminate. Handling a wide variety of substrates up to 1.6m wide, the StarLam makes liquid lamination quick and easy. Applications include: vehicle graphics, backlit signs, POP, trade show displays, banners, wallpaper and canvas.

GL specialised inks

1610 Series UV

The multi-purpose system is formulated to meet the increasing processing speeds of modern printing equipment, curing at lower levels of UltraViolet energy and thereby reducing energy costs and substrate heat exposure.

1900 Series UV

This is a lower cost development for the vinyl banner, vinyl tablecloth, static cling vinyl, pressure sensitive vinyl and styrene market.

NBC Meshtec meshes

NSDS are direct importers of quality polyester and nylon screen mesh from NBC Meshtec of Japan. The company offer mesh for sale in a wide variety of options, ranging from 10T glitter mesh right through the spectrum to 180 or 200 mesh for graphic UV applications.
